PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE HITTING THE REGISTER BUTTON

Thank you for signing up to volunteer for the 2014 Wag 'n Trail. Please note this website is ONLY for volunteer opportunities. If you want to register as a participant for the Wag 'n Trail please visit the DFL website at www.ddfl.org to sign up!

To sign up as a volunteer, please read through the "Ticket Types" above which are the volunteer opportunities for this event. You will notice there is a column that says FREE, this is just confirming that to volunteer for this event there is no fee. Once you have selected a volunteer opportunity, you will need to select the following:

* More info button: (to the right of the volunteer opportunity title) to read detailed information about the volunteer position.

* Quantity: (select one if you are just signing yourself up, and if you plan to sign multiple people up, please select that number). After you select the quantity, please hit the Register button.

* Complete the required information:

- Name (please do not use all caps or all lower case)

- Email address

- Phone Number

- Address, City, State, Zip

- Age (you MUST be at least 16 to volunteer for this event)

After you select the "Complete Registration" button you will be emailed a confirmation ticket. Approximately two weeks prior to the event you will receive a confirmation letter, position description and map. This will be mailed to the address you provide to ensure you receive these important documents. This will NOT be emailed to you. A volunteer agreement form will be enclosed in your mailed packet if you are not a current volunteer. Please fill this out and bring it with you to volunteer check-in. We will also send you important information on parking, volunteer check-in location, and much more.

Please note: If you are volunteering for this event we ask that you DO NOT bring your dog or children with you while you are volunteering. You will be busy and your hands won't always be free so we ask that you please leave your furry friends at home (or have a friend come to walk them). If you want to be able to volunteer as well as participate in the event, please select one of the early volunteer shifts. This will allow you time to get your dog and be back to the park before the event is over (there is no start time for this event, however it ends at noon).

This volunteer event does not count towards court ordered or school community service. If you need community service hours, please call our volunteer department at (303) 751-5772, Ext. 7247 for information on enrolling in our community service program.

If you are having difficulty registering for the event or if you have specific questions about a volunteer position, please contact the volunteer services department at jrice@ddfl.org or (303) 751-5772, Ext. 7246.
